MP TRACEY RAMSEY WELCOMES ALMOST $700,000 IN CANADA SUMMER JOBS FUNDING

MP Tracey Ramsey welcomes $690,169 into her federal riding through the Canada Summer Jobs program. This money will support many local jobs for post-secondary students between the ages of 15 and 30.

“I am proud that these funds are helping students to find that all important summer job. For many young people this provides a vital opportunity to learn new skills and gain valuable work experience,” said Tracey Ramsey, Member of Parliament for Essex. “This money will also help a lot of local groups including small businesses and not-for-profit employers across Essex.”

Canada Summer Jobs 2018/2019 is funding a total 221 jobs, 52564 employment hours at 52 organizations across the riding, including Community Living Essex, the Kiwanis Camp, and the LaSalle Hangout.
