TPP concerns must be heard before Liberals consider ratification

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau's Liberals promised public consultations, but instead signed Canada onto the TPP without having done any economic impact study and refusing calls to try to negotiate a better deal for Canada. This kind of bait and switch is unacceptable when so many good Canadian jobs are on the line.
By Tracey Ramsey, MP for Essex and NDP International Trade critic
"Workers in southwestern Ontario -- like those I represent in Essex -- find it fundamentally unfair that the United States negotiated a better deal than Canada ... As the progressive opposition, the NDP is committed to defending value-added, family-sustaining Canadian jobs, which are critical to Canada's economic prosperity and future."
