WINDSOR HOSTING CANADA-US INTERPARLIAMENTARY GROUP

Local MPs Masse and Ramsey Attending

Parliamentarians and Congressional from the Canada-United States Inter-Parliamentary Group will be in Windsor this weekend to tour border sites and meet with local stakeholders regarding the economy, trade and the environment.

 

Delegates will be arriving this evening; the agenda consists of meetings, panel discussions and tours of regional border infrastructure. Local MPs Brian Masse (MP Windsor West and Vice Chair of the Canada-US Inter-Parliamentary Group) and Tracey Ramsey (MP Essex and NDP Critic for International Trade) will be attending. Some agenda items include meetings with the WDBA, the University of Windsor Cross Border Institute, The Windsor Port Authority, the International Joint Commission and others.
